Autonomous Robotic Pick-Place of Microspheres
The microrobotic system employs a novel MEMS microgripper to overcome adhesion forces (van der Waals, electrostatic, and capillary forces) for accurate release of a micro object. Shown in video are micro spheres of 10 microns in diameter. For details, refer to [J50] and [J41] on the Publications page.
C. elegans Tracking and Locomotive Feature Extraction
The video shows real-time extraction of locomotive features of C. elegans via a visually servoed micropositioning system. A total of 128 worms of four C. elegans strains with different numbers of muscle arms were continuously tracked. For details, refer to [J40] on the Publications page.
